ANTIPOLO SERVICES
BASIC SERVICES AND FACILITIES
The City is providing the basic services and facilities under Section 17 of the Local Government Code of 1991, which include but are not limited to the following:
- Agricultural extension and on-site research services and facilities
- Enforcement of forestry laws limited to community-based forestry projects enforcement of the pollution control law, small-scale mining law and other laws on the protection of the environment and mini-hydro electric projects of local purposes
- Health services
- Social welfare services
- Information and investment support services
- Environmental management system and services or facilities related to general hygiene and sanitation
- City buildings, cultural centers, public parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, public assembly areas and other similar facilities
- Infrastructure facilities intended to service the needs of the residents of the City including, but not limited to, city roads and bridges; school buildings and other facilities for public elementary and secondary schools; drainage and sewerage, flood control and irrigation systems, similar facilities
- Public markets, slaughterhouses and other city enterprises
- Public cemetery
- Tourism development and promotion programs
- Programs and projects for low-cost housing and other mass dwellings, except those funded by the Social Security System (SSS), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the
Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF)
- Upgrading and modernization of tax information and collection services
- Adequate communication and transportation facilities
- Support for education, police and fire services and facilities
